Vitality Bowls Café Manager
Vitality Bowls Superfood Café Alpharetta is looking for a passionate, health-minded, and energetic Manager to join our team. We are all about promoting health and wellness while delivering delicious açaí bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads and panini. All items are made fresh to order and we strive to accommodate customers with food allergies. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item.
As a Store Manager of Vitality Bowls, you will be responsible for managing sales, financials, operational excellence, exhibiting amazing customer service and demonstrating exceptional leadership.
Store Manager Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and coaching Team Members and Shift Supervisors successfully, and following training plans thoroughly
- Recognizing outstanding work performance while providing necessary constructive feedback
- Determining and maintaining optimal staffing levels to best support the needs of the business
- Adhering to all labor laws, holding self and employees accountable to company policies regarding time and attendance
- Establishing strong, transparent lines of communication with upper management, customers, Shift Supervisors and Team Members
- Consistently exhibits and holds team accountable to customer service standards
- Complying to all company policies, procedures and expectations, ensuring all employees do the same
- Showing exemplary knowledge of Vitality Bowls brand and products
- Consistently educating and engaging customers and employees on all Vitality Bowls products and services
- Managing inventory levels and performing operational procedures such as inventory counts, placing orders, accepting deliveries, etc.
- Creating schedules based on the needs of the business
- Meeting all business and productivity metrics, including sales and budgets
- Observing and determining the needs of the customers and team members
- Following all company food safety, allergen safety, cash handling, cleanliness and operational policies and procedures, and ensuring that all employees are in compliance as well
- Developing and maintaining positive relations with the surrounding community through exceptional customer service, effective marketing and community involvement
- Promoting a positive, uplifting and motivating in-store culture that thrives on team work
- Leading the team by example
- Other duties as assigned by upper management based on business needs
Store Manager Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year management experience or 2 year supervisor experience
- Available to work 30 - 40 hours per week and all day-parts including mornings, nights and weekends
- Proficiency with technology such as POS software, scheduling and emails
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and regularly lift up to 40 pounds
- Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance
- Restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Possess or obtain ServSafe Certification
- A positive and uplifting attitude!
